Gather Social Technologies Corp.
A small company that builds software worth keeping.
We design, ship, and operate a handful of products. Most solve a real problem. One is a joke we committed to maintaining anyway.
The products
Each runs on its own site. Pick one and have a look.

Your system should never forget.
Managed event sourcing. Define your events and handlers, push them over HTTP, query the aggregates. We handle validation, persistence, and the parts everyone gets wrong.
j17.devShiftRobin
The 3 AM shift-fill problem, solved in 3 texts.
When someone calls in sick, ShiftRobin finds the cover. Fair, fast, and over SMS — no app for your staff to install, no group chat that nobody answers.
shiftrobin.comHunky
Stage just the hunks you want — no TUI.
A real, free, MIT-licensed git tool that does the one thing a non-interactive caller can’t: stage selected hunks. Wrapped, for reasons, in a deeply unserious cloud.
hunky.devHow we operate, in three lines.
We build it
Designed and written in-house, start to finish. No outsourced core, no acquired husk wearing a fresh logo.
We run it
The people who write the software keep it online. Real infrastructure we operate ourselves, not a reseller badge.
We keep it
Products here are meant to outlast a funding round. We'd rather tend a few than abandon many.
Funding canary
No outside money.
Gather Social Technologies is entirely self-funded. No venture capital, no private equity, no angels, no strategic investor with opinions about the roadmap. We own all of it.
Consider this a canary. While it's here, that's still true. If we ever take outside investment, we'll remove this section rather than quietly reword it — the empty space is the announcement.
